Let's Hike around the beautiful Tzielefos Bridge, which is , in Paphos District.
The hiking event was organized by the ''Cyprus From Air'' Team and it was an amazing experience. Thank a lot guys..Keep Up the great work!
The trail was about 20 km (back and forth) , and the starting point was next to the bridge. We Walked along the ''Diarizos'' river for most of the trail until we reached the ''Komititzi'' Picnic area which unfortunately is not on any map i know :(
Quick Facts about Tzielefos Bridge: Tzielefos Bridge was part of a main route that was used for centuries , for the transportation of copper from the Pera Pedi mine to the ports of Paphos and Polis. It is built during the Venetian Rule period between 1489 – 1571 , over ''Diarizos'' River and is one of the largest medieval bridges on the island.
